Description

Azura was once a normal Altearthean Human, unaware of the different races and civilizations the galaxy around her had to offer.  when she arrived at MSF High, she--like many other arrivals--was shocked to see herself transformed into a snake-tailed gorgon, but while most students had the chance to react in the manner of their choosing, Azura's experience was a little different.  Thanks to her newfound racial ability to turn anyone she looks at to stone, she found herself not just changed into another race, but rock solid as well!  Looking at herself in the mirror for the duration of her power, she couldn't help but study her new features, consider the possibilities inherent in stone, and how she could shape it to make it into something truly beautiful.  Now eager to begin her studies, she easily earned Miss Tulip-Blossom's favor with her enthusiasm and became one of her apprentices, picking up techniques for all sorts of artistry but never straying for too long from her true passion, sculpting.  Over time, she became consumed with the idea of the perfect form.  Every moment of her activities, both in school and out, was little more than an excuse to find other students in their element, observing the links between their form and their activities, but for the longest time she was unaware of exactly what it was she was looking for.  More than a few times she used her petrification ability in combination with her artist powers to resculpt others into forms she thought would be more fitting, but even they weren't quite right.  It would not be until late into her first year that she would finally bring her masterpiece into reality...

So technically, you could say she is somewhat similar to Medusa?

Also, not trying to be offensive.
